Levels of support
- You apply for a level: 100%, 75%, 50% or 25% of your fees.
- Allowances for meals, books and projects are separate, and are paid in full whichever level you are awarded.
- Admission does not guarantee a loan. HELSB decides the final level of support awarded.
What the loan pays for
- Tuition, registration and accommodation fees, paid to the institution.
- Meal, book and project allowances.
- Students living off-campus are entitled to an accommodation refund in lieu of on-campus housing.
